' The Discover Cork Schools History Project is open to primary and post-primary students in County Cork. The objective of the competition is to generate interest and understanding in local heritage amongst school children. The competition also offers schools and students an opportunity to participate in a county-wide project which will help to develop investigative skills as well as general writing and team skills amongst the participants.'
