  • The annual Dublin Branch Sixth Form Quiz was held on January 25th at St Conleth’s in Ballsbridge. The quiz was very well attended despite the disruption caused by the snow days at the start of the term. In all 26 teams battled it out over ten rounds. Clonkeen College set a blistering pace not missing a single question in the first seven rounds. They were closely shadowed by Drogheda GS and St MacDara’s CC who traded places on the scoreboard for second and third in the latter part of the quiz. At the close Clonkeen were the outright winners dropping only three questions. Drogheda and St MacDara’s tied for second place two questions behind the winners. Well done to all those who participated in an enjoyable evening and if you missed it make sure to put it in your calendar for 2011.
