10.30-10.45 : "The National Print Museum as an educational resource" Presenter: Gretta Halpin Dodd, Education Officer, The National Print Museum.

10.45-11.45"Impact of the EEC on fisheries: using the documentary film 'Atlantic' as a teaching resource".
Presenter: Stephen O'Gorman, Researcher & Schools Liaison for 'Atlantic', Scannáin Inbhear Teo.

11.45-12:00: Tea/Coffee and chat

12:00-1.30 :  "Glasnevin Cemetery and Museum: new and forthcoming education programmes for students of all ages".

Presenter: Dr John Gibney (Education and Outreach Officer, Glasnevin Cemetery Museum).

Tour: "Dead Interesting" Tour for Schools.
(Focuses on some of the lesser known stories associated with those interred in Glasnevin, such as that of Maria Higgins, the woman who died once yet was buried twice, an Irish chaplain who witnessed the liberation of Bergen Belsen concentration camp and a vault that held secrets during the Irish War of Independence to name a few. This is a tour for those both well acquainted with the cemetery and those who have never visited before and could be useful in teaching social history to your students).
